AIRTEL DELHI HALF MARATHON

Buoyed by the success of the opening edition of the Mumbai Marathon, Procam zeroed in on the capital city of India, New Delhi. This is where the exciting journey of the Delhi Half Marathon began in 2005. Rio Olympics marathon champion and the fastest marathoner in the world, Eliud Kipchoge, participated and won the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon 2016. Daley Thompson, Jackie-Joyner Kersee, Sir Richard Hadlee, Alan Border and Cathy Freeman have been the event ambassadors in the world’s most prestigious IAAF Gold Label half-marathon.

TATA MUMBAI MARATHON

The event is in existence since 2004 and is one of the top marathons in the world. The 2017 edition saw the prize money go up to USD 3,86,667. Legendary athletes from across the world like Michael Johnson, Mike Powell, Linford Christie, Steve Ovett, Paul Tergat, Dame Kelly Holmes, Gail Devers, Gabriela Szabo, Kapil Dev, Vijay Amritraj, Aravinda De Silva, Javagal Srinath, Anju Bobby George, and Edwin Moses have been event ambassadors over the years. Bollywood star John Abraham is the Face of the Event since 2008. In 2010, the largest marathon in Asia was honoured by the arrival of the Flame of the Marathon Run whose origin could be traced back to the 1896 Athens Olympics.

TCS WORLD 10K BENGALURU

Looking at the success of the Mumbai Marathon and the Delhi Half Marathon, Procam decided to spread the distance running revolution to the garden city of Bengaluru in 2008. Today, the event is the world’s richest 10 Km run and has seen participation from top elite athletes in the world. Mike Powell, Marie Jose Perec, Carl Lewis, Maria Mutola, Linford Christie are few of the big names in sports who have been the event ambassadors of the TCS World 10K, which is one of Bengaluru’s most eagerly awaited events. South superstar Puneeth Rajkumar is the face of the event.

TATA STEEL KOLKATA 25K

This is the newest distance running event organised by Procam. Kolkata saw a successful launch in 2014 with over 6,500 people participating. Starting from the 2016 edition, the Prince of Kolkata, Sourav Ganguly, came on board as the Face of the Event. Former tennis legend Boris Becker also graced the event as a guest in the 2016 edition.
