The ShowGlass Court was first branded the “Thunderdome” by Procam. The ceiling camera which is now a standard for major squash tournament television coverage is another prominent innovation of ours.
Procam organised the Men’s World Championship in Doha in 1998; a tournament originally slated to be in Mumbai but moved to the peninsular Arab nation on account of operational issues in India.
All Procam-powered squash events in India are held at custom-built outdoor courts in iconic locations such as the Gateway of India, Cricket Club of India, and Bombay Gymkhana with over USD 500,000 set as prize money. The Men’s Mahindra International was heralded by many as “the best event on the PSA Super Series”. It attracted the likes of Peter Nicol, Jansher Khan, and Brett Martin to India capturing the nation’s imagination in the nineties.
